Abandoned house

Some time ago
you made the decision
to become a place
I could no longer visit

That our wedding song,
I wrote to you,
can no longer be heard

That I could no longer hear
"I love you"
or linger in the sweet memories

And for awhile
I lived with that.
I build a fence around those things

But at some point
I sneaked into the abandoned house.
I sniffed the fainting smell of you,
hummed our song
- One time even swayed a little

I visit there sometimes
when no-one can see

And one time,
I could swear,
I saw you wandering on the overgrowing lawn
