Some Time Ago

Two years ago- everything was so different
Two years ago- I was filled with dreams
Two years ago- I thought I knew everything

So many things have changed
Nothing remains the same
Time has flowed so fast

I have travelled around
Never found my way
Back precious home

A year ago- I found myself
A year ago- I knew what to do
A year ago- All was so clear

But life's not a fairytale
Fate swept everything off
Leaving only ashes

Like a stubborn little child
I had to rush my way through
Making mistakes after one

Six months ago- I found my heaven
Six months ago- my wings carried me
Six months ago- Sun shone ever brighter

But it all collapsed
Sun burned my wings
There was nothing
For me-

I burned my wings to ashes
But my spirit still lives on
I'll rise again and fight
There's more for me !
