Day at St. Andrews
I was at the seashore.
Seagulls cried,
death was surrounding near.
Few guillemots were resting,
returning to earth again.
Ocean waves hushed them
last goodbyes
Still sun shone and
it was peaceful.
Sea sang a lovely songs
that settled my restless brains.
For sometimes life’s too much.
However the sea is so huge
and I am so tiny
and
it’s calming for me to remember
how small part I am in the system
and
I could let my mind wander
to the waves and to the sea foam.
And I wonder is that where the mermaids
have gone.
