Devil`s Thumb

closed my eyes, opened my mind
let the dream come...
i fooled Her once, long time ago
as the deal went undone

but i`ve got Her Word, i´ve got Her Seal
nothings gonna hurt me...
i fooled Her once, i think the time has come
to pay for the things left beneath

     close my eyes to dream the dream
     focus my mind to nightmare it out
     find a place to let it go
     and to realise what is it all about..
 
i`ve got a piece of Her, a treat of silence
in my pocket i store The Infinity
and i barely remember how i fooled Her
but its inside my dreams and inside me..

     close my tired eyes once and forever
     focus my troubled mind to find it out
     to find a place where i can be me
     by realising what and who its all about...

i´ve got more thumbs i need, and The Word
but still i lack some fingers
i feel them in my mind, and they`re not mine
i know it`s She, who there lingers..

and after all, i just want to be sure
was it all worth it or not?
a finger there and a finger here
but the Devil`s Thumb is missing a plot..

      close my dream to live it alive
      to face Her Wrath not to survive
      and She laughs my fear away by saying
      : "you can have my Thumb, just be my Pinkie slaying.."
