Woken up in the middle of the night
The waves have come to claim my life
I’ve done my best to keep them out
But the undertow pulled me down

Water’s rising slowly up on me
Liquid hell everywhere I see
Would someone take this rain away
Cause there is no god left to pray

Adrenaline, panic creeping in
This deluge that comes from within
And I can’t stop the flood

The levels arise, but I won’t give in
Deadly sewer waste, not to drink or swim
Dripping down from every corner
Fills the cracks with poison water

Running around to save this house
This downpour won’t make me drown
I’m sweating razors, through my skin
This haunting's now just a memory

Open up the gates, let it flush away
There has to be another way
Cause I will stop the flood
