The Darkness Within

I wake up and I see that around me is nothing but darkness..
I can sense that you are near but I can´t see you..
I almost growl in agony, trying to find you..
I feel my heart is going to jump out of my chest..
I can´t see, can´t feel, my senses are fading out slowly..

Suddenly, my heart stops..
I fall to the ground..
A massive blur fills my eyes..

Anything I ever dreamed about,
Everything I have, has been washed away.
There´s nothing left.

Suddenly I feel a warm touch.
I feel blood running through my veins again.
I open my eyes and I see you.
Your warm smile and calming voice fills my soul with life again.

Now that you´re here with me, nothing can take this feeling away from me.
When I´m with you, I will never wander in the darkness.

You are my light, my saviour, my angel...
