Goodbyes

Thank you for the things we had
The laugh and tears, good and bad.

For moving on I'll close my heart
No knocking excepted or I go apart.

My pillow takes my tears away
And the fridge is my only friend today.

When the sun comes out I'm ready here
With wishful thoughts without a tear.

You always will be in my mind and heart,
But I know that we both have another real love
