Flesh is weak
and mind easily follows
  becomes corrupt
  becomes deeply broken
     or just doesn't care

Trying to keep
the used pieces in place
  together
Pretending to be intact
Playing the role
  I have been offered
The role

To make a difference
  I really need to
  Pull everything apart
Break the surface
  Thrash all
  that is familiar
Smash the mirror
  Drown everything
  I know from before
Pull the curtain down
  And burn all
  that is left
Reinvent myself
