it's physical
you know it when
even the good things hurt
   especially
     the good things..
to see you there
fight or flight response
and heartache of the sweetest kind

yet it's still a heartache
somehow knowing it'll never be real
and all the time we have is borrowed
stressful nights
alone in uncertainty, understanding
how I really don't know you, not at all
